Question: Why isn’t my CM lock locking properly?

Answer: Your lock may have been put into toggle mode.

Here’s a quick test - when you press a button do both the red and green LED's light up?  If so, chances are your door has been put into toggle mode.  If you are at the factory default settings, 135135 is a code that will unlock your door and keep it unlocked until it is told to relock with another toggle credential.  Try entering 135135, or the toggle code that you created, to get your door to relock.  If this does not work, the lock could be unlocked due to an automatic unlock created with computer programming.

Never leave your CM locks with the factory default information in them.  To quickly eliminate all factory default codes, change your programming code.  To do so follow the chart below.
