The AD-302 is a wired electronic lock designed to be modular and provide more. More options to choose from, more built-in functionality, and more compatibility with access control systems.

The AD-302 is fully PIV and PIV-I compatible for dual authentication to an external cloud-based server.

Any lock intended for use in government facilities that are required to meet the FIPS 201-2 standard must be part of an integrated Physical Access Control Software (PACS) provider's compliant solution. The AD-302 is the only electronic lock on the market that has been tested and approved as part of a FIPS 201-2 solution. The government’s approved products list will show which providers have achieved listing and the products supported.

The AD Series features built-in credential readers and access control sensors, and has a patented modular design.  This allows it to be customized to fit the current application and adapt to meet future technology needs without removing it from the door.

AD-302 locks connect and communicate directly to an Access Control Panel (ACP) operating independently of the IT network for real-time connectivity and lockdown via RS-485.

Schlage AD Series networked locks have a long history within the Government space. Under the new FIPS 201-2 standard, the lock must be installed as part of an integrated Physical Access Control Software (PACS) provider's solution that has been tested and approved under HSPD-12 guidelines.  The AD-302 is the first electronic lock to be approved as part of a system.
