Overview

Proximity credentials provide a convenient access control solution for facilities with less demanding security needs. They are compatible with most industry-leading proximity readers, allowing them to easily integrate into existing proximity access control systems. Schlage offers a variety of credential formats to support a broad range of access control applications.

Many organizations still depend on the legacy technology they invested in decades ago, like magnetic stripe or low frequency proximity cards. Newer technology is available that’s encrypted and less vulnerable to security breaches. Learn more about the credential technologies available.
