Lockdown Capability

Keeping people safe and secure where they work and thrive is paramount. In many schools, buildings and health care facilities, lockdown capability is a component of the larger security and safety plan. Lockdown solutions must meet code requirements and allow for free egress. Depending on the solution, lockdown can be initiated immediately at the opening with classroom solutions or from a centralized location when manged through Electronic Access Control.

No-Tour Solutions

Multifamily properties can increase efficiency by allowing the No-Tour credentials to be programmed by the office to deliver updates to the doors without the need to visit each lock. No-Tour options are available for use with fobs, cards and mobile credentials. Save time and money by deploying No-Tour compatible locks on resident unit doors, perimeter entries, common areas, and amenities.

Software Solutions

No two buildings are alike, that's why there are a variety of software solutions available to meet market needs. Our products have been integrated with leading PACS and Proptech systems for access control and beyond. In addition, Allegion offers ENGAGE™ and Pure Access™ software solutions that are designed for low to medium complexity applications.

Wireless Solutions

Wireless solutions continue to gain in popularity, they are commonly used on interior openings to extend electronic access control deeper into the building. Typical applications include dorm rooms, apartment entries, offices and amenities. Wireless solutions are a cost efficient alternative when it's challenging to run wires for power and data such as historic buildings, parking gates, elevators and remote storage sheds.

Wired Solutions

Most integrators choose wired solutions for reliability, these solutions are commonly used on perimeter entries and high security applications. Typically, a wired credential reader is combined with a power supply (12/24 VDC or PoE), an electrified device like a lock, strike, or exit device, and system accessories such as a motion sensor or remote release switch to meet the operational requirements of an opening. While the majority of applications continue to run on 12 or 24 VDC power, IP/PoE applications are being specified more frequently.

ELECTRONIC ACCESS CONTROL PRODUCTS

Software is the backbone of any EAC system. A wide variety of Physical Access Control System (PACS) alliances have integrated Schlage readers and electronic locks into their solutions. Capabilities will vary by provider and can include real-time visibility and control, centralized lockdown, and applications beyond access control

Credentials are assigned to each user and can be set up to work on specific openings, and at specific times. MIFARE® DESFire® EV smart cards feature the latest AES encryption to ensure that data is secured before, during and after the transaction
Mobile credentials, including Bluetooth® and NFC wallet-based student id, are encrypted for security and are gaining popularity since they are convenient and eco-friendly
Multi-technology readers, including the MT and MTB Series, are compatible with encrypted smart and mobile credentials and are lockdown capable. For added security, select the option with keypad to enable multi-factor (card+PIN) authentication
Schlage Control Smart Locks with No-Tour capability increase efficiency for property managers and provide convenient fob or mobile credential access for residents and guests
NDE cylindrical and LE mortise wireless locks can work in a variety of different systems and can be set up for No-Tour, Wi-Fi or real time updates
Choose AD300 wired or AD400 wireless locks for broadest range of features and capabilities including real time updates and multi-factor (card+PIN) authentication
Standalone solutions, inlcuding the CO-100 PIN code lock, deliver budget-friendly features and added convenience to applications where a robust access control solution is not needed
