Overview

The essential building blocks of a well protected Schlage key system begin with patented Everest 29 keyways. These keyway families offer the greatest levels of versatility as part of a layered security plan utilizing standard Everest 29 cylinders. They offer upgraded security as Primus XP cylinders, and high-security as Primus UL 437 cylinders. Schlage's commitment to helping assure key system integrity over time means that even older Everest key systems can be easily updated to improve security or regain key control and patent protection using compatible Everest 29 cylinders and keys.

Everest 29 restricted key systems protect against unauthorized duplication two ways. First, the key blanks are tightly controlled by Schlage to ensure access for only authorized dealers and end users. Secondly, patent protection deters duplication of the design—an offense subject to federal law. They are also available as open, Everest 29 S keyways to give you the level of security you need for every application.
