Overview

Hospitals and other health care environments have special requirements for noise reduction to help patients heal faster and staff perform efficiently. The HL Series latches are designed specifically for quiet operation utilizing the L Series chassis to add superior strength and durability. A short throw angle allows door opening with an easy push or pull action and the motorized operation is also quieter and more energy efficient than solenoid-based designs.

Ideal for use on:

  • Secured-use patient room doors
  • Work areas where quiet concentration is desired
  • Busy traffic areas to reduce noise
  • Chapels or auditoriums where noise can be disturbing
  • Office and administrative areas
