S Series Grade 2 Tubular Lock

Used for interior doors, S Series locks focus on popular functions, levers and finishes to offer a cost effective solution for rental spaces.

S Series are interior-use, Grade 2 locks featuring both keyed and non-keyed functions. They are ideal for light commercial applications like small hotels and office tenant space, as well as apartment buildings. Heat treated locking components add strength while Schlage solid levers in plated zinc are engineered for long life and optimum durability. The four popular lever designs are ADA compliant with options for tactile warning.

  • Four lever designs made of pressure cast zinc, plated to match product finish specification      
  • Milled tactile warning available on Saturn lever design
  • Roses: wrought brass, plated to match product finish specification; 2-9/16" (65 mm) diameter   



  • Backset: Adjustable 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset (60 mm or 70 mm) standard; 5" optional 
  • Latchbolt: 1/2" (13 mm) throw brass, chrome plated standard 
  • Faceplate: square corner 1" x 2-1/4" (25 mm x 57 mm) standard; round corner option available
  • Strike: 1-1⁄8" x 2-3/4" (29 mm x 70 mm) T-strike standard; ANSI and radius corner strike options available
  • Strike lip length: 1-1⁄8" (29 mm) standard; extended lip strikes - 1-1/4" to 2" optional

  • UL 10C and CAN/ULC-S104 listed  
    • 3-hour fire doors: A label single doors 4' x 8' 
    • Letter F and UL symbol on latch front indicate listing 
  • UL 437 listed when using Primus high-security UL 437 cylinder
