Built to Last  

• Every Schlage lock undergoes intensive testing to determine its ANSI grade level including: cycle, resistance, door impact, warped door and bolt strength tests  

Unless otherwise marked, indication is offered as single-interior, single-exterior, and as dual-sided trims.

Material

• Indicator trim is solid zinc with steel backplate that acts as a security shield
• High-density polycarbonate view window
• Deadbolt: Zinc with steel anti-saw pin insert 
• Trim ring: Solid zinc  
• Cylinder: Solid brass in a solid zinc housing
• Dust box: Metal with 3" screws standard 

Door Thickness

• Standard door thickness: 1-3/8" to 1-7/8" (35 mm to 43 mm) conventional cylinder or thumbturn only; 1-5/8" to 2" (41 mm to 51 mm) FSIC or SFIC cylinder 

Deadbolt

• 1" housing diameter; 0.81" x 0.62" x 1" throw
• Backset: adjustable for 2-3/8" (60 mm) or 2-3/4" (70 mm) standard for standard non-fire-rated and optional fire-rated versions; fire-rated deadbolt with 5" fixed backset optional
• Faceplate: square corner 1-1⁄8" x 2-1/4" (29 mm x 57 mm) standard; circular drive-in style in and round corner options available 
• Strike: 1-1/8" x 2-3/4" (29 mm x 70 mm) with square corners standard; ANSI, round cornered, and thimble options available

• ANSI/BHMA A156.36-2020, Grade 2 auxiliary lock (except B581)
• With SFIC interchangeable core cylinders: Grade 3

UL/cUL

• Available UL 10C and CAN/ULC-S104 listed (except B562 and B571) 
  •    3-hour fire rated as auxiliary locks 
  •    Letter F and UL symbol on latch front indicate listing

• UL 437 listed when using Primus high-security UL 437 cylinder
