Overview

Built for performance, reliability, and design continuity, the Schlage PM Series™ electrified mortise locks bring trusted Schlage quality to commercial real estate, multifamily, and hospitality spaces. These Grade 1 locks provide secure access and free egress with quiet, motor-driven actuation for dependable, efficient operation. Available in three functions, the PM Series integrates easily into wired access control systems or can operate independently using a switch, relay, or other device. The lock automatically adapts to 12V or 24V DC input, with simple field selection between fail safe (EL) and fail secure (EU) modes via a case-mounted switch. Low current draw supports multiple locks per power supply while preventing “hot lever” conditions, and optional Request-to-Exit (RX) and Latchbolt Monitoring (LX) features enhance visibility and control. Sharing the same levers, trims, and aesthetic as the mechanical PM Series, these electrified models deliver a cohesive look across the Schlage Performance Series portfolio—offering a complete, consistent, and competitively priced solution for everyday performance.
